The Acharya Review is an independent journal of critical theory working across media, law, political and cultural theory, and comparative religion and mythology. It publishes essays, named series, frameworks, and archival research under the byline of its Editorial Board.
The work here asks a single question in many registers: how systems — legal, religious, cinematic, computational — capture what they claim to represent, and what gets erased in the capture. The essays on this site are cross-linked, carry persistent identifiers, and publish their claims ledgers so that every argument can be checked against its sources.
Editorial board
All pieces are published collectively under the byline The Editorial Board. The board edits, verifies, and stands behind every claim ledger on the site.
Citing the review
Every published essay carries a persistent identifier of the form AR-2026-001 and a suggested citation at its foot. Identifiers and addresses never change; corrections are logged as dated revisions on the essay itself. The frameworks index gives each named concept a permanent address.
